Stretches in bed

Hey everyone!!

This post is for everyone whether you are a lazy person who doesn’t want to leave bed even after waking up or the kind of person who typically spring out of bed every morning on the first tick of alarm.

Just do these stretches in bed n feel awesome for the whole day:

Ankle pump

  1. Move your ankle towards shin and hold it there for 5 seconds.
  2. Get your ankle in neutral position and move it to point fingers in opposite direction.
  3. Hold the position for 5 seconds as well.
  4. Repeat the exercise 10 times on both the limbs.

Spine twist

  1. Lay on your back with both the arms stretched out on either side.
  2. Slowly twist your lower back and hips to one side with the upper knee crossing the other.
  3. Hold the position for 5 seconds.
  4. Twist to other side and hold for 5 seconds.
  5. Repeat it 10 times twisting to both the sides.

Knee to chest

  1. Lay straight in bed and bring your knees close to your chest by bending them.
  2. Hold the position for 10 seconds.
  3. Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Figure of 4 stretch

  1. Lay straight with a knee bent.
  2. Cross your other knee over the bent knee.
  3. Hold the bent knee and bring it closer to your chest.
  4. Hold the position for 5 seconds.
  5. Repeat it 5 times with both the knees.

Note: Kindly consult a physio if you are suffering from any musculoskeletal pain prior doing these exercises.

So stretch away the laziness even in bed!!!
